In short
TorqueCounts has no accounts, sign-ups or forms that send data to us. The calculators, converter and vehicle search run in your browser, and what you type into them isn’t sent to us or stored. The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies as described below. It shows no ads.
What is collected
- Bolt sizes, torque values and vehicle searches stay in your browser and are gone when you leave the page.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request information (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver and protect the site.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are used. It sets cookies and collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed and approximate location; it doesn’t receive what you type into the calculators. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it doesn’t set analytics cookies unless you agree.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply.
