What Mazda’s manuals say
Mazda’s manuals say to fit the nuts with the beveled edge toward the wheel, keep oil and grease off the nuts and bolts, and not tighten past the specified torque. They have you lower the vehicle before tightening the nuts in the order shown.

Before you tighten
